The retraining course chosen by client as the active labor market policy measure and its effect on change of clients attitude towards professional training

Abstract:

Cílem této magisterské práce je odpovědět na hlavní výzkumnou otázku: Změnilo absolvování zvolené rekvalifikace jako nástroje aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti postoj nezaměstnaných klientů k dalšímu profesnímu vzdělávání? Diplomová práce je složena ze tří základních částí – teoretické, metodologické a empirické. V teoretické části vymezuji hlavní teoretické pojmy, především rekvalifikace, které jsou jedním z nástrojů aktivní politiky zaměstnanosti, dále pak profesní vzdělávání, přibližuji motivaci ke vzdělávání a věnuji se postojům a jejich změně. Metodologická část vysvětluje strategii kvalitativního výzkumu a představuje dílčí výzkumné otázky. K získání dat byl využit polostrukturovaný rozhovor. V závěru diplomové práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka. Výzkum ukázal, že prostřednictvím zvolené rekvalifikace lze změnit postoj absolventa k dalšímu profesnímu vzdělávání. Výstupy a závěry z provedeného výzkumu jsou určeny především pro pracovníky úřadů práce.

Abstract:

We see the main goal of this thesis in finding answer for the research question: „Resulted passing retraining course chosen by client (as an active employment policy instrument) to the change of attitude of this one towards to further professional training?“ The thesis consists of three main parts - theoretical, methodological and empirical. The theoretical part defines the key theoretical concepts, especially concept of retraining courses (which represents one of the active Labour Market policy instruments), thereafter vocational training. Specifically the motivation for education, attitudes of clients and effort for the change of these attitudes are focused. The methodological part explains the strategy of qualitative research and set up particular research questions. The semi-structured interview was used for obtaining data. In conclusion of the thesis is the main research question answered. The research has shown that via specific retraining courses can be used for changing the attitude of graduates towards to further professional training. The outcomes and conclusions of the research are primarily intended for Labour Offices employees.
