Teaching information literacy with non-traditional methods

Abstract:

Informační gramotnost bývá spojována s vyhledáváním informací, které uživatel potřebuje. Zůstává zásadní dovedností nutnou pro správné fungování člověka v informační společnosti, a je proto důležité vzdělávat v ní mladší generaci. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá informační gramotností, konkrétně tím, jak ji lze vyučovat. Její součástí je navržení netradiční metody výuky opírající se o dramatickou výchovu a její metody. Obsahem této práce je vypracováni již zmíněné metody v podobě divadelního scénáře. Tento scénář je následně aplikován v praxi a reakce na jeho realizaci jsou následně vyhodnoceny.

Abstract:

Information literacy is often associated with finding the information the user needs. It remains an essential skill for the proper functioning of a person in the information society and it is therefore important to educate the younger generation in it. This thesis looks at information literacy even more specifically how it can be taught. It includes proposing non-traditional methods based on drama education and its methods. The content of this thesis is the development of the aforementioned method as a theatrical scenario. This scenario is then applied in practice and the reactions associated with it are subsequently evaluated.
