Factors influencing customers' behaviour in the hospitality industry

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je identifikace faktorů ovlivňujících chování zákazníků v hotelnictví s cílem zjistit, které faktory jsou pro spotřebitele při výběru ubytovacího zařízení nejvýznamnější. V teoretické části byla provedena rešerše odborné literatury z oblasti hotelnictví, spotřebitelského chování, kupního rozhodování a ekonomické racionality, která posloužila jako základ pro analýzu faktorů ovlivňujících chování zákazníků v hotelnictví. Analytická část práce se zaměřuje na vyhodnocení dotazníkového šetření, jehož cílem bylo zjistit preference služeb a aktivit, hodnocení respondenty a porovnání preferencí mezi různými skupinami zákazníků. V třetí části práce jsou prezentovány získané informace a výsledky analýzy, které naznačují klíčové faktory, ovlivňující chování zákazníků v hotelnictví.

Abstract:

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the identification of factors influencing customer behaviour in the hotel industry in order to find out which factors are the most important for consumers when choosing an accommodation facility. In the theoretical part, a literature search of the hotel industry, consumer behaviour, purchase decision making and economic rationality was conducted to serve as a basis for the analysis of the factors influencing customer behaviour in the hotel industry. The analytical part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of the questionnaire survey, which aimed to find out the preferences of services and activities, respondents' evaluation and comparison of preferences among different groups of customers. The third part of the thesis presents the information obtained and the results of the analysis, which indicate the key factors influencing customer behaviour in the hotel industry.
