Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem genderu, psychologickými rozdíly mezi muži a ženami z hlediska makulinity a feminity a také odlišností jejich rolí ve sféře rodinné a pracovní. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost pojmům, které se k danému tématu váží a následně je rozebírána problematika diskuze o ženství a mužství z hlediska čínské filozofie, antické mytologie a psychologie. Nastiňuji zde biologickou a psychologickou podmíněnost vývoje osobnosti k ženství a mužství. Všímám si rozdílů v postavení mužů a žen ve společnosti. Jaké se používají při posuzování příslušníků opačného pohlaví genderové stereotypy. Uvádím některé teorie socializace a utváření genderu. Jaké mají ženy šance uplatnit se na trhu práce, jaká je jejich role v současné rodině a jakými změnami prošla rodina v posledních desetiletích. A v neposlední řadě popisuji, jaké mají ženy možnosti při harmonizaci pracovních a rodinných rolí. Jedna z kapitol je věnována pohledu na vývoj feministického hnutí u nás a ve světě. Jednotlivým vlnám, nebo také mezníkům emancipačních snah žen. Také nastiňuji konflikt mocenského uspořádání ve společnosti. Zda pomyslné otěže moci drží ve svých rukou stále muži, nebo je od nich převzaly ženy v rámci bonmotu ?muži vládnou světu a ženy mužům?. V závěru práce se snažím objasnit, jestli opravdu čelíme krizi mužnosti, jak je to vlastně s mužskou identitou a s novými typy mužů, kteří se objevili na scéně, takzvaným tvrdým typem, marlboro-cowboy a na straně druhé měkkým typem, softie či hippies. Ve výzkumné části diplomové práce jsem se zaměřila na zkoumání rozdílů v míře maskulinních a feminních charakteristik u studentů a studentek Ekonomické a Pedagogické fakulty. Také zjišťuji názory a postoje studentů a studentek obou fakult k rozdělení povinností v domácnosti a k rozhodování o způsobu trávení dovolené a víkendů a k hospodaření s penězi. Rovněž si kladu otázku, jak velký důraz kladou studenti a studentky na vzdělání a následný příjem partnera.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of gender, psychological differences between men and women from the point of view of masculinity and femininity and also with the distinction of their roles between family and working sphere. The theoretical part is dedicated to terms associated with the given topic. Consequently, I describe the question of discussions about manhood and womanhood from the point of view of Chinese philosophy, ancient mythology and psychology. I also mention biological and psychological conditionality of character development to womanhood and manhood. I observe differences in the rank of men and women in society. Which gender stereotypes are used when judging members of the other gender. I notice some theories of socialization and formation of gender. What are the women´s chances to succeed at the labour market, what is their role at present family and what changes has family experienced in the last decennaries. And last but not least I talk about women´s chances in harmonization of working and family roles. One of the chapters is donated to the development of feministic movement in the Czech Republic and in the world - to single waves or to boundary marks of emancipatory effort of women. I take notice of conflict of position of power in society as well; if the imaginary reins of power are still held by men or if they were taken over by women within the frame of the quip ?men dominate over the world and women dominate over men?. In the final part of the thesis I try to clarity if we really face the crisis of manhood, what is the truth about male identity and new types of men that appeared on the scene, so called ?hard type?, marlboro-cowboy and on the other side ?soft type?, softie or hippies. In the practical part of the thesis I focused on examination of differences in the amount of male and female characteristics of students of Economic and Pedagogical Faculty. I also search for students´ opinions and attitudes to sharing household duties and to deciding about the way of spending holidays and weekends and to money management. Moreover, I inquire about the importance of partner´s education and money income to these students.
