Communication Strategy of a Day Care Centre for People with Dementia

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tvorbou komunikační strategie Denního stacionáře pro osoby s demencí ve Zlíně. Teoretická část práce shrnuje nejdůležitější poznatky z oblasti neziskového sektoru a marketingu neziskových organizací. Dále obsahuje teoretická východiska pro tvorbu komunikační strategie a neopomíná ani etické aspekty komunikace a problematiku tabuizovaných témat. Praktická část práce se zabývá zhodnocením současné komunikace dané služby a provedením a vyhodnocením kvalitativního a kvantitativního šetření. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit, jaké je povědomí o službách nabízených NADĚJÍ Zlín, včetně služby denního stacionáře, ale také jaké je povědomí široké veřejnosti o tématu demence. Projektová část obsahuje návrh komunikační strategie, jejímž cílem je naplnit kapacitu obou působišť denního stacionáře.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the creation of a communication strategy for the Day care centre for people with dementia in Zlín. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the most important findings from the non-profit sector and marketing of non-profit organizations. It also contains the theoretical basis for the creation of a communication strategy and does not neglect the ethical aspects of communication and the issue of taboo topics. The practical part of the thesis deals with the evaluation of the current communication of the service and the implementation and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative research to determine how much is the general public aware of services offered by NADĚJE Zlín, including the day care centre, but also what is the general public's awareness of the topic of dementia. The project part contains a proposal for a communication strategy, the aim of which is to fill the capacity of both locations of the day care centre.
