Corporate Social Responsibility in the Fashion Industry: Zara Case Study

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with the area of corporate social responsibility in the fashion industry and in its practical part focuses on the Zara brand, which is one of the leading players in this industry. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of Zara's CSR activities and how these activities are perceived by the company's employees. The methodology includes the analysis of publicly available information about Zara's CSR strategies and activities. The work focuses on the evaluation of employees' awareness of CSR activities, their perception and the contribution of these activities to the corporate culture and image of Zara as an employer. The results show that Zara's CSR activities are perceived by employees as an important element of corporate identity. The discussion focuses on recommendations for improving and deepening employee involvement in CSR activities. This thesis provides a comprehensive view of the relationship between CSR activities and employee awareness at Zara. These findings can be used for further research in the field of corporate responsibility and human resource management.
