The Motivation of volunteers in the Son-rise Program, which is used by children with autism

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá motivací dobrovolníků v Son-rise Programu, který se využívá u dětí a dospělých s autismem. V teoretické části jsou popsány důležité termíny, jako poruchy autistického spektra, jejich diagnostika a etiologie a blíže pak dětský autismus. Ve druhé části předkládá informace o samotném Son-rise Programu, jeho filozofii a důležitých principech a metodách při práci. Také poukazuje na samotné dobrovolníky a zákon zastřešující dobrovolnictví v ČR. Při výzkumném šetření byla provedena analýza motivace dobrovolníků, proč právě oni začali vykonávat Son-rise Program a které faktory je při práci ovlivňují a motivují a naopak co by této metodě vytkli.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the motivation of volunteers in the Son-Rise Program, which is used in children and adults with autism. There is explained important terms, such as autism spectrum disorders, their diagnosis and etiology and the children's autism in the theoretical section. The second part presents information about the Son-Rise Program, its philosophy and key principles and methods of work in this program. It also points out the volunteers and a volunteering law in the country. There was analyzed the motivation of volunteers in the research study, why they began to use Son-Rise Program and the factors that affect them at work and motivate them and also what they do not like in this method.
