Application of Corporate Social Responsibility in Selected Company

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis describes the apliccation of principles of socialy responsible business in SAD Zvolen, a.s.. Focus of the first chapter is to define a concept and definition of CSR, for development CSR and strategical documentation and institutions to support CSR. This thesis defines a concept of Triple-bottom-line, fundamentals of CSR (economic, social and environmental), approaches the theory of stakeholders, describes standards and norms which supports CSR and finally, reporting and its advantages. Second chapter analysis current state in SAD Zvolen, a.s., evaluates and summarizes positive activities in individual areas of CSR concept. Third chapter contains suggestions and recommendations for SAD Zvolen, a.s. company, based on second chapter´s discovery and highlights the advantages of responsible business.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá uplatňovaním princípov spoločensky zodpovedného podnikania v spoločnosti SAD Zvolen, a.s. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na teoretické vymedzenie pojmu a definícií CSR, na vývoj CSR a strategické dokumenty a inštitúcie na podporu CSR. Charakterizuje koncept Triple-bottom-line, základné piliere koncepcie CSR, ekonomický, sociálny a environmentálny, približuje teóriu stakeholderov, vysvetľuje štandardy a normy podporujúce CSR a zameraná je aj na reportovanie a jeho výhody. Druhá kapitola analyzuje súčasný stav spoločnosti SAD Zvolen, a.s., hodnotí a sumarizuje pozitívne aktivity v jednotlivých oblastiach konceptu CSR. Tretia kapitola prináša návrhy a odporúčania pre spoločnosť SAD Zvolen, a.s. na základe zistení v druhej kapitole a zdôrazňuje výhody zodpovedného podnikania.
