Burial in Brno: Since 1918 to the Present
Abstract:
V této bakalářské práci se věnujeme pohřbívání na území města Brna se zaměřením na rozmezí od roku 1918 po současnost. Zahrnuje vývoj a popis nejen současných brněnských hřbitovů, ale též odlišné způsoby pohřbívání náboženských a etnických komunit současného Brna. Vlastní výzkum, zkoumá vliv sekularizace společnosti na změně velikosti křížů, zobrazovaných na náhrobcích.
Abstract:
In this thesis we study burials in the city of Brno, focusing on the time period from 1918 until present. This thesis includes development and description of both cemeteries and differencies between burials of religious and ethnic communities in current Brno. The research examines the impact of secularization in the size of the crosses displayed on the tombstones.
