Abstract:

Předmětem této diplomové práce je poukázat na význam životního pojištění pro penzijní zabezpečení občanů České republiky v poproduktivním věku. V práci vycházím z demografického vývoje české populace. Ve druhé části nastiňuji podoby důchodových systémů obecně a ve vybraných zemích. V třetí části popisuji důchodový systém České republiky, rozebírám jeho finanční neudržitelnost a možnosti jejího řešení. Ve čtvrté části zmiňuji některé možnosti soukromého důchodového zabezpečení, především životní pojištění. V následující části se věnuji postojům občanů k českému důchodovému systému a formám soukromého důchodového zabezpečení. V poslední části zkoumám schopnosti životního pojištění udržet životní úroveň občanů v poproduktivním věku.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to highlight the importance of life insurance for the retirement security of citizens of the Czech Republic in post-productive age. In the thesis I proceed from the demographic development of the Czech population. In the second part I outline the scheme of pension systems in general and in selected countries. In the third section I describe the pension system of the Czech Republic, analyze its financial unsustainability and its possible solutions. In the fourth part I mention some possibilities for private pension security, especially life insurance. In the next section I attend to attitudes of citizens to the Czech pension system and forms of private pension security. In the last part I deal with the ability of life insurance to maintain living standards of citizens in post-productive age.
