Předmětem této bakalářské práce je vývoj veřejného zadlužení ve vybraných státech Evropské unie. Pozornost je věnována konkrétně Francii a Německu. První část práce je zaměřena na vymezení základních pojmů, se kterými je později pracováno. The objective of the thesis is to outline the trend of public debt in selected European Union countries. Special attention is given to France and Germany. The first part of the thesis focuses on explanation of basic terms that are used throughout the thesis.
