Resemblance of Graduation Exams on Educational Institutions In Between the Years of 1870 - 1948

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma ?Podoba maturitních zkoušek na učitelských ústavech v letech 1870 ? 1948? je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část je zaměřena na historický vývoj středního školství, zaměřuje se především na politické okolnosti, které ovlivnily vzdělávání učitelů na učitelských ústavech. Dále je v teoretické části popsána obecná podoba maturitních zkoušek v tehdejším období a podoba dnešní. Praktická část je zaměřena na konkrétní učitelský ústav, který se nacházel v Jičíně. Práce se zaměřuje na vývoj tohoto ústavu a následně podrobný popis průběhu maturitních zkoušek ve třech vybraných obdobích. Cílem této práce je podrobné zanalyzování průběhu maturitních zkoušek, výzkum byl tedy proveden na základě archivního bádání pomocí metody analýzy textů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis on topic ?Resemblance of Graduation Exams on Educational Institutions In Between the Years Of 1870 - 1948" consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part focuses on historical development of secondary education, especially on political circumstances which influenced the education of teachers on educational institutions. Further on there is a description of general resemblance of graduation exams of that period and today. Practical part concentrates on a single specific training school located in Jicin. The thesis covers a development of this institution as well as a detailed description of the process of graduation examining in three specific periods. The main goal of this paper is an elaborate analysis of graduation exams; the research was then carried out with the help of archive materials and the use of text analysis methods.
