Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na téma ilustrace, kterou zkoumá z různých perspektiv. Zabývá se ilustrací dětských pohádek s důrazem na reflektování sociálních aspektů. Cílem práce je prozkoumat, jaký vliv mají ilustrace na vnímání a porozumění dětských pohádek, zejména z hlediska sociálních témat. Práce se zaměřuje na analýzu ilustrací z hlediska zobrazení genderových rolí, etnické rozmanitosti, socioekonomických rozdílů a inkluzivity. V teoretické části práce jsou představeny relevantní teorie ilustrace a dětské literatury, rovněž jako sociální aspekty, které jsou v těchto pohádkách často zastoupeny. Jsou zde rozebrány také předchozí studie a výzkumy týkající se vlivu ilustrací na dětské čtenáře a jejich porozumění sociálním tématům. Dále je v teoretické části práce je provedena analýza vybraných dětských pohádek a jejich ilustrací, která se zaměřuje na zobrazení sociálních aspektů. Jsou identifikovány a zhodnoceny klíčové prvky a vizuální prostředky, které ilustrace používají k vyjádření těchto sociálních témat. V empirické části této práce se věnuji popisu vzniku mé autorské ilustrované knihy pro děti s názvem AZBEKA. Tato část se skládá z několika dílčích bodů. V rámci autorského záměru jsou zkoumány různé aspekty pohádek, jako je obsahová rovina autorky textu, věková kategorie, děj pohádky, shrnutí děje a autorská participace. Další část práce, se zaměřuje na technické parametry ilustrací. Jsou zde specifikovány formy zpracování, jako je kresba, malba nebo digitální úprava ilustrací. Dále jsou zde popsány také formát papíru a způsob tisku. Důraz je kladen i na ekonomickou a ekologickou rovinu, aby byl výsledný produkt udržitelný a šetrný k životnímu prostředí. V rámci ilustrátorských a myšlenkových voleb jsou zkoumány různé aspekty, jako je podoba aktérů příběhu, podoba planety, krajina a obydlí. Tyto volby mají za cíl vytvořit ilustrace, které budou ladit s celkovým poselstvím pohádky a budou oslovovat čtenáře vizuálně i obsahově. V závěrečné části práce jsou prezentovány výsledky analýzy a jejich interpretace. Práce se také může přinášet další pohled pro ilustrátory, autory dětských knih a vydavatele, jak efektivně zahrnout sociální témata do ilustrací dětských pohádek. Tato diplomová práce může přispět k lepšímu porozumění vlivu ilustrací na vnímání sociálních aspektů dětských pohádek, může nabízet inspiraci pro tvorbu ilustrací, které mohou být více inkluzivní, edukativní a podporující rozmanitost.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the topic of illustration, which it explores from different perspectives. It deals with the illustration of children's fairy tales with an emphasis on reflecting social aspects. The aim of the thesis is to explore the influence of illustrations on the perception and understanding of children's fairy tales, especially in terms of social issues. The thesis focuses on the analysis of illustrations in terms of depictions of gender roles, ethnic diversity, socio-economic differences and inclusivity. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces relevant theories of illustration and children's literature, as well as the social aspects that are often represented in these fairy tales. Previous studies and research on the impact of illustrations on children's readers and their understanding of social issues are also discussed. Furthermore, in the theoretical part of the thesis, an analysis of selected children's fairy tales and their illustrations is made, focusing on the depiction of social aspects. The key elements and visual devices used by the illustrations to convey these social themes are identified and evaluated. In the empirical part of this thesis, I describe the creation of my original illustrated children's book entitled AZBEKA. This part consists of several sub-points. Various aspects of the fairy tales are explored within the authorial intent, such as the content of the text, the age category, the plot of the fairy tale, the plot summary and authorial participation. The next part of the thesis, focuses on the technical parameters of the illustrations. The forms of processing, such as drawing, painting or digital editing of the illustrations are specified. The paper format and the printing method are also described. Emphasis is also placed on the economic and ecological aspects to ensure that the final product is sustainable and environmentally friendly. Different aspects such as the likeness of the actors in the story, the shape of the planet, the landscape and the dwelling are explored as part of the illustrative and ideological choices. These choices aim to create illustrations that fit with the overall message of the tale and appeal to the reader visually and in content. The final part of the thesis presents the results of the analysis and their interpretation. The thesis may also provide additional insight for illustrators, children's book authors and publishers on how to effectively incorporate social themes into children's story illustrations. This thesis can contribute to a better understanding of the impact of illustrations on the perception of social aspects of children's stories, and can offer inspiration for creating illustrations that can be more inclusive, educational and supportive of diversity.
