Abstract:

Abstrakt (česky) Diplomová práce se zabývá Public relations neziskových organizací poskytujících komunitní péči osobám s duševním onemocněním. Konkrétně se práce věnuje neziskovým organizacím působících v Ústeckém kraji, které poskytují osobám s duševním onemocněním služby v oblasti zaměstnávání. Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat aktuální situaci v oblasti realizace PR ve vybraných neziskových organizacích. Analyzovaná data jsou využita k vytvoření akademického rámce dané problematiky a poskytnutí praktických doporučení k využití PR nástrojů a aktivit v definované oblasti. Data byla získána kvalitativním výzkumem prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s deseti zaměstnanci vybraných neziskových organizací, k jejichž náplni práce patří činnosti v oblasti PR. Sekundárním zdrojem informací je obsahová analýza webových stránek vybraných organizací. Na základě poznatků uskutečněného výzkumu lze vyvodit, že ve většině neziskových organizací nepatří PR mezi priority, a řízení vztahů s veřejností je spíše intuitivní. Zároveň jsou ale patrné přínosy PR u těch neziskových organizací, které jej využívají. Díky tomu výzkum identifikuje PR strategie přínosné pro daný sektor.

Abstract:

Abstract (in English) This thesis is about the public relations of non-profit organizations providing community care to people with mental illnesses. In particular, the thesis focuses on the non-profit organizations providing those people with employment services in the Ústí region of the Czech republic. The aim is to bring an analysis of the current situation in the realization of PR activities carried on by the mentioned organizations. Analysed data is then used to create an academic coverage of the given issue, as well as to draw practical recommendations on the usage of PR tools and activities in the defined area. The data was gathered in qualitative research by conducting a total amount of ten semi-structured expert intervirews. Experts, for the case of this thesis, are employees of the selected PR organizations whose scope of work includes PR management. A secondary source of data is a content analysis of the websites of the selected organizations. Based on the data set, the thesis concludes that most of the non-profit organizations providing employment services or to people with mental illness do not prioritize PR in their functioning, and managing the public relations is rather intuitive than strategic. On the other hand, there are obvious benefits following from the data provided by these organizations running PR activities. That helps us to pinpoint the strategies useful for the given sector.
