New Aspects in the Development of Risk Management in the Insurance Practice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce na téma "Nové aspekty ve vývoji risk managementu v pojistné praxi" je pojata z hlediska vlivu nových aspektů na risk management v oblasti pojišťovnictví. Za tyto aspekty lze považovat směrnici Solventnost II a novodobou finanční krizi. Práce zahrnuje čtyři hlavní části, které obsahují jak teoretické shrnutí nejdůležitějších oblastí pojišťovnictví, tak komparaci vlastních poznatků nabytých po dobu vypracovávání této práce. První kapitola umožňuje proniknout do základních informací v oblasti pojišťovnictví a to především formou stručného vysvětlení teorie a důležitých pojmů nezbytných pro pochopení práce. Druhá část poskytuje vysvětlení vývoje vzniku Evropské unie, Solventnosti I a II a novodobé finanční krize. V třetí části následuje popis problematiky risk managementu, managementu dobré pověsti a stresového testování v pojišťovnictví. Dále docházíme do čtvrté, závěrečné části, ve které dochází k analýze a komparaci přístupu ke klasifikaci rizik v daném odvětví. Závěr práce obsahuje zhodnocení poznatků dosažených zkoumáním.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "New aspects in the development of risk management in the insurance practice " is conceived in terms of the impact of new aspects of risk management in insurance. These aspects can be considered as Solvency II and the modern financial crisis. The work includes four main parts that included theoretical summary of the most important areas of insurance and comparison of knowledge and experience gained during the development of this work. The first chapter to penetrate into the basic information in the field of insurance, especially in the form of a brief explanation of the theory and key concepts necessary for understanding the thesis. The second section provides an explanation of the development of the European Union, Solvency I and II and the recent financial crisis. In the third section is followed by a description of the issue of risk management, reputation management and stress testing in insurance. Next, we come to the fourth and final part, involving the analysis and comparison of approaches to the classification of risks in the sector. Conclusion The work includes evaluation of the knowledge attained by examining.
