Feminist motifs in Anna Odell's filmography
Abstract:
The main topic of the bachelor's diploma thesis is the feminist motifs in Anna Odell's filmography. The thesis mainly focuses on two of her films, The Reunion and X & Y, in which it searches for feminist motifs and elements of performance. Furthermore, the thesis contains information about the director herself, but also about the Swedish film industry and its stance regarding gender equality.
Abstract:
Téma bakalárskej diplomovej práce je Feministické motívy v celovečernej filmovej tvorbe Anny Odellovej. Práca skúma najmä dve snímky, The Reunion a X & Y, v ktorých vyhľadáva motívy feminizmu a prvky performance. Ďalej práca disponuje informáciami o samotnej režisérke, ale aj o švédskom filmovom priemysle a jeho postoji k genderovej rovnosti.
