Performance appraisal in a specific organization

Abstract:

Hlavním námětem této bakalářské práce je hodnocení výkonu zaměstnanců v konkrétní organizaci. Cílem práce je analyzovat současný systém hodnocení pracovníků a za podpory provedeného průzkumu spokojenosti jsou vyvozena případná doporučení. První, teoretická, část za pomoci dostupné odborné literatury popisuje oblasti, jako jsou účel, typy, kritéria, metody a chyby hodnocení. Nechybí ani charakteristika hodnotícího pohovoru, a to včetně jeho struktury a následné provázanosti se systémem odměn. Druhá, praktická, část je rozdělena do šesti podkapitol. Nejprve práce pojednává o charakteristice a struktuře vybrané společnosti, popisuje historii a implementaci systému hodnocení v této organizaci. Hlavní část textu je věnována analýze současného systému, na kterou volně navazuje vlastní průzkum spokojenosti provedený v organizaci, a to včetně výsledků tohoto šetření. Závěrečná část je zaměřena na seznam doporučených opatření pro budoucí zefektivnění systému hodnocení, která mohou přispět k zefektivnění tohoto důležitého personálního procesu.

Abstract:

The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the performance of employees in a particular organization. The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current system of employee evaluation and, if supported by the satisfaction survey, any recommendations are drawn. Using the available literature, the first theoretical part of the area, such as purpose, types, criteria, methods, and evaluation errors, is described. There is also a description of the evaluation interview, including its structure and subsequent links with the reward system. The second practical part is divided into six subchapters. First, the characteristics and structure of the selected company are discussed and the history and implementation of the evaluation system in the organization is described. The main part is devoted to the analysis of the current system, which is loosely followed by its own satisfaction survey conducted in the organization, including the results of the survey. The final part is dedicated to the list of recommended measures for future streamlining of the evaluation process. The main output of this work is to help make this important personnel process more effective.
