Paralinguistic aspects of communication in fact-finding interviews

Abstract:

Znalost paralingvistických aspektů v komunikaci je stále aktuálnějším tématem, obzvlášť v době, kdy se spousta lidí snaží působit jinak, než jací ve skutečnosti jsou, říkají něco jiného, než si myslí. Umí-li člověk odhalit neverbální prvky komunikace, dozví se mnohem víc, než pouhé předávané informace. Já jsem se ve své práci zabývala paralingvistickými aspekty ve zjišťovacích rozhovorech. V teoretické části jsem se snažila přiblížit komunikaci všeobecně, její rozdělení na verbální a neverbální. Dále jsem popsala jednotlivé dělení paralingvistických aspektů a charakterizovala vybrané z nich. V závěru teoretické části jsem popsala rozhovor, jeho dělení a přínos. Cílem praktické části mé práce bylo přepsat zvukový záznam zadaných rozhovorů a analyzovat vybrané paralingvistické aspekty. Každý signál jsem porovnala u všech respondentů zvlášť a v závěru jsem vytvořila osobnostní profil každého z dotazovaných na základně srovnání u jednotlivých částí a aspektů. V závěru celé práce jsem se věnovala prospěšnosti znalosti paralingvistických aspektů a také náročnosti jejich individuálního výkladu.

Abstract:

Nowadays the knowledge of paralinguistic aspects in communication is more actual than ever. Particularly in times when many people are trying to hide their two-sidedness, their inner self and when they not speak their minds on regular basis. With disclosing the secrets of non-verbal communication people can reveal much more than simple passed information. In my thesis I was considering the paralinguistic aspects in screening interviews. I was trying to approach the communication itself in the theoretical part - its definition to verbal and non-verbal. Next I described the paralinguistic grouping aspects while I described selected ones. At the end I covered the talk in means of its grouping and benefits. The point of practical part of my thesis was to transcribe audio recording of the specified interviews and analyse some paralinguistic aspects. I cross checked each and every signal for all respondents and in the end I created personal profile of all questioned based on comparison both aspects and individual parts. The conclusion was to focus on benefits of knowing the rules of paralinguistic as well as revealing of its difficulties when facing the individuals.
