The Effectiveness of the Funding of Social Services to the Opavian Region

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je efektivita financování sociálních služeb na Opavsku. Cílem této práce je zdůraznit důležitost efektivního financování sociálních služeb a role neziskového sektoru v sociální oblasti, zaměřit se na život uživatelů v pobytových zařízeních. Diplomovou práci tvoří dvě části. Teoretická část se zabývá charakteristikou, rozdělením a financováním neziskového sektoru, minulým a současným systémem financování sociálních služeb a sociálními službami v Opavském regionu. Výzkumnou část tvoří dvě části kvantitativního výzkumu: obsahová analýza dokumentů a dotazníkové šetření, které provedu mezi uživateli pobytových zařízení v Opavském regionu. Na základě výsledků výzkumu zhodnotím efektivitu financování sociálních služeb a aspekty života uživatelů v pobytových zařízeních.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the effectiveness of the funding of social services to the Opavian Region. This thesis´s goal is to emphasize the importance of the effectiveness of the funding of social services and of the role of the non-profit sector in the social area, to focus on users´ living in the residential facilities. The thesis is created by two parts. The theoretical part is dealing with the characteristic, the dividing and the funding of the social sector, the last and the present system of the funding of social services and social services within the Opavian Region. The research part is created by two parts of the quantitative research: the content analysis of documents and the questionnaire investigation among the users of the residential facilities within the Opavian Region. Based on the research results, I will valorize the effectiveness of the funding of social services and aspects of the users´ lives in the residential facilities.
