Diplomová práce je zaměřena na vznik a vývoj finančních derivátů a predikci jejich dalšího vývoje. Ve stručnosti vymezuje definice finančních derivátů, zabývá se možnými riziky spojenými s deriváty. Dále popisuje jednotlivé typy finančních derivátů s možnostmi jejich využití z pohledu zajištění a spekulace.
