Using basic probability theory and statistics in econometrics
Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře s vybranými partiemi teorie pravděpodobnosti a matematické statistiky a poté je aplikovat na základní ekonometrický model. Hlavní důraz je přitom kladen na konstrukci intervalových odhadů a testování statistických hypotéz v klasickém lineárním regresním modelu. Teoretické poznatky prvních pěti kapitol jsou využity k následnému řešení praktických příkladů.
Abstract:
The object of this bachelor thesis is to inform the readers of the choosen parts of probability theory and statistics and then to aplicate to basic econometric model. The main emphasis is stressed on construction interval estimation and testing hypothesis in classical linear regression model.
