Stressful situations in families of children with cerebral palsy

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem náročných životních situací, které nastávají v rodinách, kde se narodí dítě s handicapem, konkrétně s mozkovou obrnou a jak takové situace řešit. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část a praktickou část. V teoretické části je charakterizována mozková obrna a její přidružená postižení, dále se zabývá zátěžovými situacemi a jejich řešením, dalšími pojmy jsou rodina a výchova. Praktickou část tvoří dvě případové studie. Ty jsou vypracovány na základě polostrukturovaného rozhovoru s rodiči dětí, které mají mozkovou obrnu. Zde je popisováno, jakými zátěžovými situacemi tyto rodiny prochází a jak vzniklé situace řeší.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with stressful situations that occur in families where a child was born with a handicap, namely with cerebral palsy and how to deal with these situations. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part analyzes the information from the available literature. This section is characterized by cerebral palsy and its related disabilities, it also deals with stressful situations and their solutions, other terms are family and education. The practical part consists of two case studies, which are applied findings from the theoretical part. Case studies are draw up on the basis of semi-structured interview with the parents of children who are disabled with cerebral palsy. There is described such stressful situations these families are going through and how to solve them.
