Case report of preterm birth

Abstract:

Úvod: Tématem této bakalářské práce je problematika předčasného porodu. Cíle: Hlavním cílem bylo vytvořit kazuistiku u ženy hospitalizované s rizikem předčasného porodu. V teoretické části bylo prvním cílem zasvětit čtenáře do problematiky předčasného porodu, uvést jeho příčiny, diagnostiku, klinický průběh porodu, prevenci a možnosti terapie. Nakonec bylo nutné charakterizovat nezralého novorozence a popsat porod předčasně narozeného novorozence. Cílem praktické části bakalářské práce bylo zjistit 5 ošetřovatelských diagnóz u ženy hospitalizované s hrozícím předčasným porodem. Vytvořit ošetřovatelský proces k jednotlivým ošetřovatelským diagnózám a uspokojit potřeby pacientky. Metody: Použité byly kvalitativní metody sběru dat. Při tvorbě této kazuistiky byl využit polostrukturovaný rozhovor s pacientkou, nestrukturovaný rozhovor s personálem, pozorování, nahlížení a analýza osobní dokumentace. K získání informací jsem využila interview s pacientkou, pro kterou jsem si připravila celkem 40 otázek, díky kterým bylo možné zhodnotit pacientčiny potřeby. Rozhovor byl uskutečněn s ženou, která byla hospitalizovaná v Nemocnici Mělník s hrozícím předčasným porodem. Výsledky: Po zpracování rozhovoru s pacientkou bylo stanoveno 5 ošetřovatelských diagnóz, které pacientku nejvíce trápily. První diagnózou byla zácpa, dále nespavost, strach, nedostatečné znalosti a snížené zapojení do zájmových aktivit. Po vytvoření ošetřovatelského procesu byly všechny stanovené ošetřovatelské diagnózy eliminovány a potřeby pacientky uspokojeny. Závěr: Práce by měla rozšířit povědomí o problematice předčasných porodů nejen mezi zdravotníky, ale i mezi laickou populací. Diagnózy byly stanoveny u jedné ženy, je nutné zdůraznit, že tyto zjištění nemusí postihnout každou pacientku hospitalizovanou s hrozícím porodem. Každá žena má jinou povahu a priority. Je nutné k ženám přistupovat individuálně.

Abstract:

Introduction: The topic of this bachelor thesis is the problematics of premature birth. Aims: The main objective was to create case report of a woman hospitalized with the risk of premature birth. In the theoretical part, the first objective to was to introduce the reader into the problematics of premature birth, state its causes, diagnosis, clinical course of childbirth, prevention and possibilities of therapy. Finally, it was necessary to characterize an immature newborn and describe the delivery of a pre-born newborn. The aim of the practical part of the bachelor thesis was to find out the 5 common nursing diagnoses in a woman hospitalized with impending premature birth. To create a nursing process for individual nursing diagnoses and meet the needs of the patient. Methods: Qualitative data collection methods were used. When creating this case report, a semi-structured interview with a patient, unstructured interview with staff, observation, viewing and analysis of personal documentation was used. To gather necessary data, I used an interview with a patient for, asking her 40 questions in total, her answers are the key for evaluating patients needs. The interview was carried out with a woman who was hospitalized in Mělník Hospital with imminent premature birth. Results: After processing a interview with the patient, 5 nursing diagnoses were determined to bother the patient most. The first diagnosis was constipation, the insomnia, fear, insufficient knowledge and reduced involvement in leisure activities. After forming the nursing process, all specified nursing diagnoses were eliminated and patients needs satisfied. Conclusion: The work should expand awareness of premature births not only between health professionals, but also between the lay populations. The diagnoses were determined in one woman, it is necessary to emphasize that these diagnoses may not affect every patient hospitalized with impending birth. Every woman has a different nature and priority. It is necessary to access women individually.
