Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2020.V mé diplomové práci se zabývám specifikací motivů, jenž vedou ma-nagement účetní jednotky k využití metod kreativního účetnictví a aplikací mode-lů sloužících k detekci přítomnosti rizika manipulace účetních výkazů v podmínkách českého podnikatelského prostředí a v rámci české účetní legislati-vy. Tyto motivy jsou popsány zejména v praktické části, kdy jedním z hlavních mo-tivů je manipulace se ziskem tak, aby odpovídal zájmům vedení společnosti, ale také například řízení hodnoty aktiv a pasiv. V rámci detekce možného využití praktik kreativního účetnictví byly zvoleny 3 hlavní modely a 2 pomocné modely. Hlavními modely detekce rizika manipulace účetních výkazů byly Beneishův mo-del, CFEBT model a Jonesův model nediskreční akruálnosti. Dvěma pomocnými metodami k upřesnění zjištěných výsledků byly modely z řady českých IN indexů, konkrétně bankrotní model index IN95 a bonitní model index IN99. Zjištěné hod-noty jsou pak zasazeny do kontextu stupně manipulace účetních výkazů a jsou shrnuty možné postihy z tohoto hrozící. Následně jsem se pokusil uvést možná doporučení, která by mohla vést ke zlepšení situace v rámci detekce manipulace účetních výkazů.

Brno: Mendel’s university in Brno, 2020.In my diploma thesis I deal with the specification of motives which lead man-agement of the company to using methods of creative accounting and also with application of models serving to detection the presence of risk that the financial statements of the company were manipulated in the conditions of czech business environment and in the borders of czech accounting law. These motives are de-scribed mainly in the theoretical part when one of the main motives is a manipula-tion with profit that it corresponds to the interests of company management but also for example value management of assets and liabilities. As part of detection possible use of practices of creative accounting were chosen 3 main models and 2 auxiliary models. The main models to detect a possible risk of manipulation in fi-nancial statements were Beneish model, CFEBT model and Jones Nondiscretionary Accruals model. As two auxiliary models used for the specification of obtained re-sults were chosen models from the series of czech IN indexes, specifically bank-ruptcy model index IN95 and creditworthiness model index IN99. Obtained results are afterwards set in the context of manipulation level in financial statements and there are also described possible following sanctions for the company. Then I tried to make recommendations which may lead to improvement in detection of ma-nipulations in financial statements.
