Abstract:

Briviova opera Demofoonte z hudební sbírky hraběte J. A. Questenberga a její provedení v r. 1738 Anotace: Tato bakalářská diplomová práce se zabývá uvedením opery Demofoonte od málo známého italského skladatele Giuseppe Ferdinanda Brivia v Jaroměřicích nad Rokytnou v roce 1738 u příležitosti svatby Marie Caroliny z Questenbergu s hrabětem Preisgottem Kuffsteinem. Rukopisná partitura této opery s vloženými áriemi a dalšími úpravami byla objevena v hudební sbírce ve vídeňském archivu Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde a popsána již Vladimírem Helfertem v jeho publikacích o jaroměřické zámecké kultuře. Těžištěm práce je analýza a popis pramene z hlediska provedených úprav oproti původní partituře, dále určení filigránů, písařských rukou vložených árií a porovnání dochovaných libret vytištěných při příležitosti uvedení opery. V závěrečné části je určen původ některých vložených árií. V dalších kapitolách je opera zasazena do kontextu doby a inscenační praxe barokní opery a také je zde věnován prostor pro životopis skladatele.

Abstract:

Opera Demofoonte of G. F. Brivio from music collection of Count J. A. Questenberg and its performance in 1738 Abstrakt: This Bachelor thesis describes production of Demofoonte, an opera by forgotten Italian composer Giuseppe Ferdinando Brivio, in Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou in 1738 performed as a celebration of wedding of Maria Carolina, countess von Questenberg, with Preisgott, count von Kuffstein. Manuscript of this opera with additional arias in it and other modifications was found in the musical collection of Archiv der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde, Wien and was described by Vladimír Helfert in his books about musical culture in Jaroměřice. Main focus of this work is an analysis and a description of the source –modifications of the original score, identification of filigree (watermarks), copyist hands in additional arias and comparing existing librettos printed on the occasion of the production. Origin of some additional arias is identified in the final chapter. The rest of the chapters describes the opera in the context of its era and also mentions staging practice of baroque opera. Composer’s biography is also included.
