Nonce Words with Suffixes of Foreign Origin in Field of Medicine: Corpus Analysis of their Occurrences in Media Texts
Abstract:
This master thesis focuses on the analysis of nonce words which play a part in the field of medicine, and which comprise suffixes of foreign origin (,-ität‘, ,-itis‘) and suffixoids (,-manie’). The master thesis goal is to show, that aforementioned nonce words can be productive in different areas. Media texts from the COSMAS II database have been used in this work. Práce se zabývá výzkumem okasionalismů v současné němčině tvořených pomocí sufixů (,-ität‘, ,-itis‘) und polosufixu cizího původu (,-manie‘) v oblasti lékařství. Je dokázáno, že přejaté sufixy, které jsou ve velké míře produktivní v oblasti lékařství, se používají i v různých jiných oblastech.
