Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na funkční styly v anglickém jazyce a překlad ukázkových textů. Práce začíná úvodem a zbytek práce je rozdělen do dvou částí teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část podává základní informace o stylistice, pojmech styl a funkční styl a také poskytuje stručnou historii funkční stylů.
