Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává především o event marketingu univerzitního hokejového týmu Engineers Prague, o organizaci, druhu eventů a jejich zkoumání a hodnocení. Cílem práce je na základě provedeného zhodnocení významu jednotlivých eventů sportovního týmu Engineers Prague vypracovat soubor doporučení pro pořádání eventů v následujících obdobích. Práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části, a to teoreticko-metodologickou, analytickou a návrhovou část. První pojednává o termínu event marketing, vymezuje jeho charakteristické znaky a podává obraz o zásadách a chybách v rámci plánování eventu. Druhá popisuje a analyzuje event marketingovou činnost univerzitního hokejového týmu Engineers Prague. V poslední části jsou obsaženy návrhy v podobě souboru doporučení, směřuje také k odpovědím na položené výzkumné otázky. Přínosem práce je kompletní analýza akcí, na kterých je zmíněný hokejový tým pořadatelem, partnerem či účastníkem. Skrze uvedené praktické příklady lze získat přehled o organizování eventových marketingových událostí ve sportovním prostředí, což se dá aplikovat i v souvislosti s mnohem většími a nákladově zatíženějšími sportovními akcemi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals mainly with the event marketing of University hockey team Engineers Prague. Included will be a description of event organization, the type of events along with a detailed analysis and evaluation thereof. The aim of this thesis is to develop a set of recommendations for organizing events in subsequent periods, based on the evaluation of the significance of each Engineers Prague team event. This thesis is divided into three main parts, namely the theoretical-methodological, analytical and proposal part. The first part deals with the term event marketing, defines its characteristics and gives an overview of its principles. Also, any errors in the planning of such events that may present themselves post event will also be included. The second part describes and analyzes the event marketing activity of the University hockey team Engineers Prague. The last part will contain suggestions in the form of a set of recommendations, which lead to the answers of the questions which were posed during research. The benefit of the work is a complete analysis of the events promoted by the aforementioned hockey team, partner or participant. Through these given practical examples it is possible to gain a complete overview about the organization of event marketing in a sports environment, which can be later applied in the context of much larger and more lucrative sports events.
