New regionalism in foreign relations of Argentina

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá vnějšími ekonomickými a obchodními vztahy Argentiny. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jaká komodita nejvíce ovlivňuje přístup Argentiny k regionalismu, jakým způsobem to realizuje, a prokázat to na případové studii. První kapitola analyzuje vývoj komoditní a teritoriální struktury zahraničního obchodu Argentiny a zjišťuje, jaká komodita hraje nejvýznamnější roli v argentinském zahraničním obchodě. Druhá kapitola se již zabývá touto zjištěnou komoditou, přesněji tím, jak se vyvíjela struktura obchodu země s tímto druhem zboží, jaká je v něm role aktérů a jaký je postoj Argentiny k nim. Poslední kapitola je případová studie, která se zaměřuje na specifika a možné problémy v obchodu s touto komoditou mezi Argentinou a Čínou, jakožto velmi významným hráčem v obchodních vztazích země.

Abstract:

This thesis concerns the foreign relations of Argentina in terms of economic and trade aspects. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain which commodity influences the most the attitude of Argentina to regionalism, in which manner it is realised and to demonstrate it in the case study. The first chapter analyses the development of the commodity and territorial structure and discovers which commodity plays the most important role in Argentina's international trade. The second chapter concerns the ascertained commodity, more accurately the development of trade with this commodity, the role of actors in that trade and the approach of the country towards them. The last chapter is the case study which focuses on the specifics and potential problems of trade with this commodity between Argentina and China, as a very important country in trade relations of Argentina.
