Employee hiring process at KOMIX s. r. o.

Abstract:

Získávání a výběr zaměstnanců jsou kontinuálními procesy, pomocí kterých jsou na volná místa dosazováni vhodní uchazeči. Jelikož na tomto procesu závisí spokojenost zaměstnanců, i firem samotných, je potřeba těmto procesům věnovat dostatečný čas, finanční prostředky, lidský kapitál a pozornost. Cílem této práce je identifikace silných a slabých stránek jednotlivých fází náboru zaměstnanců do firmy KOMIX s. r. o. Informace byly shromažďovány především z rozhovoru se specialistkou na nábor, z firmy KOMIX s. r. o., a také z interních dokumentů. Dílčím cílem byla také analýza kariérních stránek firmy z hlediska atraktivity pro generaci Y (tzv. mileniálové). Z provedených analýz je možné zjistit, že má firma promyšlený a strategický postup pro získávání i výběr zaměstnanců, ale více se při těchto procesech orientuje na kritéria pracovního místa než na celopodniková a týmová kritéria. Chce-li firma do budoucna zaujmout i generaci Y, je potřeba, aby více zdůraznila svou firemní kulturu a zaměřila se na aktivity v oblasti společensky odpovědného chování.

Abstract:

Recruitment and selection of employees are continuous processes by which suitable candidates are chosen to fill vacancies. As the satisfaction of employees, as well as the companies themselves, depends on this process, it is necessary to devote sufficient time, financial resources, human capital and attention to these processes. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to identify the strengths and weaknesses of individual phases of recruiting employees to the company KOMIX s. r. o. The information was collected mainly through an interview with a recruitment specialist from KOMIX s. r. o. A partial goal was also the analysis of the company's career aspects in terms of attractiveness for Generation Y (also known as millennials). From the performed analyzes it is possible to find out that the company has a well-thought-out and strategic procedure for recruiting and hiring employees but in these processes the company focuses more on job criteria than on company-wide and team criteria. If the company wants to attract Generation Y in the future, it needs to emphasize its company culture more and focus on activities in corporate social responsibility behavior.
