Preparedness of selected states to develop automation and digitalization in industry

Abstract:

AbstraktCílem této práce je zhodnocení a porovnání faktorů připravenosti vybraných států na přicházející změny v průmyslu související s automatizací a digitalizací (také známé pod pojmy Průmysl 4.0 a Čtvrtá průmyslová revoluce). V teoretické části jsou představeny pojmy a úvod k těmto změnám, dále jsou popsány vybrané státy z pohledu zadaného tématu a uvedeny a vysvětleny konkrétní faktory připravenosti jednotlivých států. Ve stěžejní části práce jsou popsány a rozebrány konkrétní státy, jsou představeny jejich silné stránky a slabiny, specifické podpůrné programy, které státy v souvislosti se změnami hodlají zavést a je zhodnocena míra jejich připravenosti. V závěru práce jsou porovnány výsledky a vysloveny predikce týkající se možného budoucího vývoje států v reakci na změny a zavedené politiky. Dále jsou předložena různá doporučení pro zlepšení současných slabých stránek vybraných států.

Abstract:

AbstractThe aim of this thesis is to evaluate and compare the preparedness factors of selected states to incoming changes in the automation and digitization industry (also known as Industry 4.0 and the Fourth Industrial Revolution). In the theoretical parts, the concepts and introduction to these changes are presented, selected states are described from the point of view of given topics, and specific factors of national preparedness are presented and explained. The main parts of the thesis describe and elaborate specific states, their strengths and weaknesses are presented, the specific supporting programs that the states intend to introduce in the context of the changes and assess the level of their readiness. At the end of the thesis, the results are compared and the predictions expressed regarding the possible future development of the states in response to the changes and the introduced policies. In addition, various recommendations are being made to improve the current weaknesses of selected countries.
