Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice bioetiky a eutanazie. Popisuje vývoj etiky jako vědy a postupné etablování bioetiky do společnosti, jako jedné z aplikovaných etik. Zabývá se nejčastěji diskutovanými bioetickými tématy současnostmi, kterými jsou biomedicínský výzkum na lidech, morální status embrya, asistovaná reprodukce, surogátní mateřství a transplantace. Největší pozornost je věnována eutanazii a paliativní péči, které jsou spolu často spojovány. Diplomová práce taktéž hledá odpověď na otázku, jaké jsou možnosti sociální pedagogiky v této oblasti. Empirická část vychází z dat získaných na základě dotazníkového šetření, které probíhalo mezi zdravotnickými pracovníky a zjišťovalo jejich postoje a znalosti některých bioetických otázek.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the analysis of bioethics and euthanasia. It covers the development of ethics as a scientific field and the gradual integration of bioethics as one of the applied ethics into society. It deals with some of the most discussed contemporary bioethic issues, such as biomedical research conducted on people, the moral status of the embryo, assisted reproduction, surrogate maternity or transplantation. The greatest attention is paid to euthanasia and palliative care, which are often related. The thesis also attempts to estimate the potential of social pedagogy in this field. The empirical part of the thesis is based on the data obtained from a questionnaire survey conducted among health care workers, inquiring about their awareness of some of the current bioethical issues and about their attitude towards them.
