The Education of Blind People in Moravia in the Form of Institutional Care till 1950
Abstract:
Tato práce sleduje vývoj a možnosti ústavní péče pro nevidomé na Moravě v letech 1835-1950. Hlavní pozornost je soustředěna na období 1. poloviny 20. století, kdy zde kromě vzdělávacího ústavu fungovaly i ústavy spíše sociálního charakteru. Práce rovněž usiluje o zhodnocení možností pracovního uplatnění a celkového postavení nevidomých ve společnosti v rámci sledovaného obbdobí.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis traces the development and possibilities of institutional care for blind people in Moravia between 1835-1950. The atention is focused especially on the first half of the twentieth century when next to the educational institution existed here further institutions of rather social character.
