Diplomová práce se zabývá výukou šermu v Čechách a na Moravě v 2. pol. 19. století. Jádro této práce se věnuje životu a dílu dvou šermířských mistrů z rodu Hergsellů, působící v 2. pol. 19. století v Brně a Praze. This diploma thesis deals with the topic of teaching fencing in Czech and Moravian area during the second half of the nineteenth century. The main part is about the life and work of two master fencers from the Hergsells, both of them lived in Brno and Prague during the second half of the nineteenth century.
