Human footprints in abandoned buildings (set of publicistic articles for MF Dnes)

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se skládá z publicistických textů žánrů feature a rozhovor pro pražskou mutaci Mladé fronty Dnes. Jejich tématem jsou různé možnosti využití opuštěných staveb a objektů lidmi – konkrétně bezdomovectví, squatting, urban exploration a využití pro sport – airsoft. Práce předkládá teoretický koncept a přehled možností využití těchto objektů zároveň se stručným uvedením do problematiky brownfields. V teoretické části se také nachází vytyčení základního spojovacího prvku těchto aktivit. Součástí práce je i vymezení obou žánrů s ohledem na českou i zahraniční žurnalistickou scénu, společně s metodologií práce. V tvůrčí části jsou pak zařazeny 4 featury o jednotlivých aktivitách a jeden publicistický rozhovor pojící se k jednomu z featurů. Zároveň je každý text doplněn kritickou reflexí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis consists of publicistic texts written in the genres feature and interview for the Prague mutation of Mlada fronta Dnes newspaper. Topics of the texts are different possibilities of use of abandoned buildings and objects by people - particularly homelessness, squatting, urban exploration and sport centered use, namely airsoft. The thesis presents a theoretical concept and an overview of the the possibilities of using these objects together with a brief introduction to the issue of brownfields. In the theoretical part we can also find a basic determination of the element that connects these activities. The thesis also includes the definition of both genres with regard to both Czech and foreign journalistic scene, together with the methodology of the works. The creative part of the thesis includes 4 features about the individual activities and a publicistic interview related to one of the features. At the same time, each text is accompanied by a critical reflection.
