Pedagogical assistance in process of education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce pojednává o práci asistentů pedagoga podílejících se na edukaci žáků v běžné základní škole. Tato práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá vymezením pojmů vzdělávání, základní škola praktická, základní škola speciální, základní škola. Dále pak definováním pojmu asistent pedagoga, kam jsem zařadila i legislativní rámec výkonu práce, náplň práce a kompetence. Druhá kapitola se zabývá specifiky práce při vzdělávání žáků se smyslovým postižením. Zaměřuji se zde na žáky se zrakovým a sluchovým postižením (definicí tohoto pojmu, klasifikací vad, speciálními pomůckami, předměty speciální péče, úpravou prostředí, přípravou a prací pedagogických pracovníků, kam zahrnuji i asistenty pedagoga). Kapitola třetí je zaměřena na specifika práce s žáky s mentálním postižením, tělesným postižením a pervazivní vývojovou poruchou. Také zde specifikuji speciální pomůcky, speciální úpravu prostředí, přípravu pedagogických pracovníků a zásady práce s těmito jedinci. Ve čtvrté kapitole se nachází část výzkumná. Je zaměřená na asistenty pedagoga pracujících na různých základních školách ve městě Brně.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis concerns the work of the pedagogical assistant involved in education of pupils in elementary schools. This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part deals with defining the terminology: education, practical elementary school, specialized elementary school, elementary school. Furthermore, I define the conception of the pedagogical assistant where I also include the statutes of their work, the contents of their work and their competence. The second chapter deals with the specifics of the work in educational proccess for handicapped students. I focuse on students with blindness and hearing problems ( defining the terminology, classification of the handicap, special aids, special care, arrangement of the environment, preparation of the workers, including pedagogical specialist). The third chapter deals with the specifics of the work with students with mental handicaps, physical handicaps and autism. In this chapter I again specify special aids, the arrangement of the environment, the preparation of the pedagogical workers and the principles of working with these pupils. The fourth part is about my research work. It focuses on pedagogical assistants working in various elementary schools in Brno.
