Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na téma občanské války ve Spojených státech amerických, která se odehrála v období let 1861-1865. Práce se věnuje příčinám vzniku tohoto konfliktu, dále průběhu a konečným důsledkům. Je zde také osvětlena problematika poválečné stabilizace Unie a rekonstrukce Jihu. Práce neopomíjí ani tíživou otázku rasové segregace.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the Civil War in the United States in the years 1861-1865. The work deals with the causes of the conflict, further progress and ultimate consequences. It also explained the issue of post-war stabilization and reconstruction of the South. The work also deals with the difficult question of racial segregation.
