Corporate income tax

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je definice pojmů, které jsou s problematikou spjaté a jejich následná aplikace. Teoretická část je věnována vysvětlení pojmů, které se odrážejí v praktické části. Jedná se o následující pojmy: předmět daně, osvobození od daně, zdaňovací období, sazby daně, vztah se správcem daně. Hlavní kapitolou této části je teoreticky popsaný výpočet daně z příjmů právnických osob. Je zde podrobně rozepsána transformace účetního výsledku hospodaření na základ daně, daňová účinnost výdajů a možnosti snížení základu daně pomocí odčitatelných položek a slev na dani. Praktická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola je věnována výpočtu daně z příjmů právnických osob podle finančních výkazů, které byly poskytnuty společností XY s. r. o. za poslední hospodářský rok (vzhledem k tomu, že v této práci jsou použity důvěrné informace, byl název firmy změněn). Druhá kapitola je věnována zaměstnaneckým benefitům, jakožto možnost daňové optimalizace.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor work is to define terms, which are connected to this issue and then apply them. The theoretical part is devoted to explanation of these terms, which are reflected in the practical part. This includes following terms: subject of tax, tax exemptions, tax rates, tax authority. The main chapter of this part is to theoretically describe the calculation of corporate income tax. There is described in detail transformation of an accounting profit to the tax base, tax efficiency and the possibility of reducing the tax base by deductible items and tax credits. The practical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to calculation of corporate income tax according to the financial statements that were provided by XY Ltd. for the last year (due to the fact that in this work are used confidential information, the company name was changed). The second chapter is devoted to employee benefits, as the possibility of tax optimization.
