From graphic to conceptual design

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem změny v grafickém designu, směrem od klasického layoutu k novomediální publikaci. Jejími jak technickými, tak obsahovými specifiky, rozdíly v layoutu publikace a jejího užívání. Naráží na aktivizaci uživatele a jeho chování v tomto prostředí. Snaží se definovat tendence současného grafického designu směrem k designu konceptuálnímu, jeho příklon k broadcastingu na cross-media platformách a okolnostem jejich používání na příkladu virtuálních performance.

Abstract:

Thesis is trying to summarize some changes in graphic design and its development from "clasical" model of printed based layout and function, towards to new media publication. Its both technical and content characteristics, differences between look, function of publication and its ability to use. Paper alludes to activization of the user and his behaviours in this environment. It seeks to define the current trends in contemporary graphic design towards to conceptual design, its tendencies to use broadcasting on cross-media platforms as new language and circumstances of their use as an example of virtual performance.
