Charting of parents` opinions on conception of children`s upbringing in the context of gender stereotypes

Abstract:

Bakalářské práce se zabývá vlivem rodiny a rodinné výchovy při vytváření genderové identity s cílem odhalit významné aspekty a genderové stereotypy, které jsou v rodinách při výchově synů a dcer udržovány. Cílem práce bylo především zorientovat se v problematice genderu a zkoumat, jaké genderové stereotypy převládají v dnešní výchově v rodině. V teoretické části budou objasněny pojmy, které jsou zpracovány z odborné literatury zabývající se problematikou genderu, rodiny a výchovy. Výzkumná část je zpracována metodou otevřeného kódování z výzkumu rozhovorů otců a matek vychovávající syna i dceru v rodině.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the influence of family and family-education in the creation of gender identity. It is essential to reveal the significant aspects and gender stereotypes that are kept in families during the education process of sons and daughters. Main focus of this thesis is to understand gender universally and study which gender stereotypes prevail in contemporary family upbringing. Special terms from literature focusing on gender, family and education, will be clarified in theoretical part. In research part, open encryption method from interviews with mothers and fathers raising a son and also a daughter, will be used.
