Comparative study of school couselling activities of the social pedagogue in Central Europe

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá komparací školské poradenské činnosti sociálního pedagoga v České republice, na Slovensku a v Polsku. Výzkumným záměrem komparativní studie bylo srovnání možností uplatnění absolventa oboru sociální pedagogika, jeho činnosti ve výchovném a sociálním poradenství ve škole v závislosti na odlišném pojetí poradenské činnosti ve zkoumaných zemích. V teoretické části vycházím z historického vývoje sociální pedagogiky v jednotlivých zemích, rolí, kompetencí, možností uplatnění sociálního pedagoga ve školství. Dále pak seznamuji se školním poradenstvím. V praktické části analyzuji legislativu komparovaných zemí týkající se role a činností sociálního pedagoga ve školní poradenské činnosti. Analýza je doplněna o rozhovory se sociálními pedagogy a školním psychologem.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with a comparison of a social pedagogue counselling in the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic and Poland. The research intention of the comparative study was to confront the possibility of asserting a social pedagogy graduate, his function in the educational and social counselling at school depending on a different conception of the counsel-ling activity in the surveyed countries. In the theoretical part I prop upon the historic development of the social pedagogy in the particular countries, roles, competences, possibilities of a social pedagogue asserting in education. Then I introduce the school counselling. In the practical part I analyse the legislation of the compared countries which concerns the role and the function of a social pedagogue in the school counselling. The analysis is completed by interviews with two social pedagogues and a school psychologist.
