Adolescent problems from children's homes while studying at secondary vocational schools

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problémy adolescentů z dětského domova při studiu na středních odborných školách. Hlavním cílem práce je zjistit a popsat příčiny jak osobních, tak i studijních problémů mladistvých, a to zejména v oblasti vzdělávání. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou.Cílem teoretické části je definovat pojem adolescent, ústavní výchova, její členění a formy dalších výchov a péčí. Ve své práci chci nastínit a nejvíce se zaměřit na život a vzdělávání adolescentů vychovávaných především v dětských domovech. Také popsat problémy mladistvých a způsoby řešení jejich problémů především ve sféře vzdělávání. Dále bude popsáno, u koho adolescenti hledají pomoc, při řešení svých problematických situací, které se týkají nejen vzdělávání. Použitou metodou při zpracování teoretické části je studium odborných literárních zdrojů, studií, tvorba výpisků, jejich analýza, srovnání a následná syntéza. Materiálem jsou odborné publikace a časopisné články.V praktické části je cílem práce zjistit celkový vztah adolescentů ke škole, poukázat a upozornit na problémy počínající i na problémy dlouhodobé, vztah ke vzdělávání, učitelům a třídnímu kolektivu. Zaměřuje se také na přátele, oblíbené či neoblíbené školní předměty, sebehodnocení, motivaci k učení nebo prostor k učení v dětském domově.V bakalářské práci využívám kvalitativního metodologického přístupu. Nástrojem k sběru dat je polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Informanty tvoří adolescenti z nejmenovaného dětského domova v Jihomoravském kraji, kteří studují na střed-ních odborných školách. Získané informace budou zpracovány za využití metody otevřeného kódování.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on adolescent problems from children's homes while studying at secondary vocational schools. The main aim of this thesis is to identify and describe the causes for both personal and educational problems of juveniles, especially in the field of education. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical.The aim of the theoretical part is to define the term adolescent, institutional education, its division and forms of further education and care. In my work I want to outline and focus on life and education of adolescents raised mainly in children's homes the most. It also describes the problems of juveniles and ways of solving their problems, especially in the environment of education. Next, it will be described on whom adolescents trust seeking for help to solve their problematic situations, a fact that concerns not only education. The methodology used in the elaboration of the theoretical part was the study of bibliography sources, studies, creation of statements, their analysis, comparison and subsequent synthesis. Materials were professional publications and magazine articles.In the practical part, the aim of the thesis is to find out the overall relationship of adolescents to school, to point out situations starting with long-term problems and their relationship with education, teachers and classroom. It also focuses on friends, popular or unpopular school subjects, self-esteem, learning motivation and learning space in the orphanage.In my bachelor thesis I used a qualitative methodological approach. The tool for data collection is a semi-structured interview. Subjects of study are adolescents from an unnamed children's home in the South Moravian Region, who study at secondary vocational schools. The information from this research will be processed according to the open coding method.
