Bereavement Care in the Hospice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce zjišťuje možnosti péče o pozůstalé rodinné příslušníky v zařízení hospicového typu. Teoretická část popisuje proces truchlení, mapuje formy pomoci pozůstalým v zármutku nekomplikovaném i komplikovaném, zjišťuje způsoby péče o pozůstalé v zahraničí i v České republice s důrazem na hospice. Praktická část se věnuje formám pomoci rodinným příslušníkům, jejichž blízký zemřel v hospici. Dále jsou ověřovány faktory ovlivňující potřebu kontaktu pozůstalého se členy hospicového týmu a účast pozůstalých na vzpomínkových programech. Analýza a interpretace získaných dat poskytuje informace o názorech pozůstalých na služby, které jim byly ze strany hospice v době truchlení poskytnuty.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis investigates the possibility of care for bereaved in hospice care. The theoretical part describes the process of mourning, explores forms of assistance to bereaved with uncomplicated and complicated grief, it finds ways to care for bereaved abroad in the Czech Republic with emphasis on hospice. The practical part deals with the forms of assistance to families whose loved one died in a hospice. Further are examined factors affecting contacts bereaved with members of the hospice team and participation on the memorial programs for bereaved. Analysis and interpretation of collected data provides information about bereaved views on counseling service which offered the hospice at the time of mourning.
