Prague Restaurants Specializing in Latin-American Cuisine

Abstract:

My bachelor dissertation is focused on restaurants in Prague with Latin American cuisine. The aim of the theoretical part of my project is to familiarize myself with the Latin American gastronomy while taking into consideration individual countries such as Brazil and Mexico. I chose five different restaurants located in Prague, where both the cuisine and cultural experience are represented. Through the use of mystery shopping analysis and visiting all restaurants, I was able to process the data obtained and to execute comparison of these five restaurants. At the end, my project drew conclusions on opportunity for customers to learn and taste specialities of the Brazil and Mexican cuisine at some restaurants located inPrague.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca ja zameraná na reštaurácie v Prahe s latinsko-americkou kuchyňou. V teoretickej časti je cieľom práce oboznámenie s gastronómiou Latinskej Ameriky ako celku, ale aj jednotlivých štátov ako je Brazília a Mexiko. V praktickej časti som sa zamerala na 5 vybraných reštaurácií sídliacich v Prahe, v ktorých je možnosť spoznať latinsko-americkú gastronómiu. Analýza prebiehala prostredníctvom mystery shoppingu jednotlivých reštaurácií. Následne som spracovala získané údaje z manuálu pre mystery shopping a porovnávala reštaurácie rovnakého konceptu.
