Awareness of high school students about automated external defibrillator

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce mapuje informovanost studentů středních škol o přístroji AED a o jeho využití do příjezdu zdravotnické pomoci. Teoretická část zahrnuje informace o historii první pomoci, první pomoc obecně, základní diagnostiku EKG. Dále popisuje základní neodkladnou resuscitaci a to jak laickou, tak rozšířenou, dle nejnovějších postupů a doporučení Guidelines 2015 a defibrilaci s využitím automatického externího defibrilátoru. Z hlediska pedagogického se diplomová práce zabývá aktivizačními metodami ve výuce v souvislosti s výukou o přístroji AED. Praktická část následně zahrnuje průzkum provedený pomocí znalostní ankety, edukaci na téma AED a přezkoumání znalostí u studentů středních škol. Obsahuje dané otázky a výsledky jednotlivých otázek kladených v anonymní anketě. Získaná data jsou uvedena a graficky zpracována do tabulek a grafů.

Abstract:

This final thesis charts the awareness of students of the medical high schools of the AED device and its use till the ambulance arrival. Theoretical part contains information about history of the first aid, firtst aid in general and the basic diagnosis of ECG. It also describes the distribution of the integrated rescue systém in general and last but not least it describes the basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation both lay and expanded according to the newest procedures and reccommendtions of Guidelines 2015 and defibrillation using an automated external defibrillator. From the pedagogical point of view this thesis deals with activation methods in the education related to the education about AED device. The practical part then introduces the research with the use of the questionnaire method for high school students. The practical part also includes the questions given and results of particular questions given in the anonymous questionnaire. The data acquired are listed and presented graphically in tables and graphs.
