Bakalářská práce pojednává o dvou největších genealogický databázích, YHRD a EMPOP, popisuje systém získávání dat, jejich správu a strukturu. V další části pojednává práce o rozsáhlých výzkumech, které byly databázemi ovlivněny a nastiňuje možnost jejich využití při prohlubování dosavadních a získávání nových poznatků v dané problematice. The thesis refers about two largest genealogical databases, YHRD and EMPOP, it describes their process of obtaining data, data base service and their structure.
