The relationship between the development of macroeconomics indicators and performance of the company

Abstract:

Makroekonomické ukazatele jsou veličiny, podle kterých stanovují a měří politické reprezentace úspěchy nebo neúspěchy vlastní hospodářské politiky. Z jejich pohybu jsou vyvozovány silné závěry, ve kterých je pozitivní pohyb ukazatelů hodnocen jako důkaz, že se opatření daří správně uskutečnit (věcně, formálně a časově) a naopak. Pojmy jako hrubý domácí produkt, nezaměstnanost, inflace, měnový kurz atd. slyšel bezpochyby každý občan. Vedle toho existují ukazatele výkonnosti, kterým obyvatelé opravdu rozumějí – tržby za výrobky a jejich vývoj, objem investic, počet pracovníků a mzdové sazby, protože pracují pro organizace, které jimi měří svoji úspěšnost nebo neúspěšnost. Tato diplomová práce vymezuje jednotlivé makroekonomické ukazatele, ukazuje způsob jejich zjišťování a interpretaci a vývoj v čase. Současně představuje klíčové ukazatele výkonnosti firmy, jejich interpretaci a vývoj v čase. Analyzuje vztah mezi pohybem makroekonomických ukazatelů a výkonových ukazatelů firmy. Dále zkoumá, jestli makroekonomické ukazatele ovlivňují firemní výkonnost nebo jestli jde kauzalita obráceně. Cílem je prokázat, že neexistuje souvislost mezi pohybem makroekonomických ukazatelů a výkonových ukazatelů firem a vyvodit praktická doporučení pro obchodní korporace.

Abstract:

Macroeconomic indicators are variables by which political representation measure successes or failures of their own economic policies. From their movements are drawn strong conclusions, in which a positive move of indicators is evaluated as evidence that the measure is implemented correctly (materially, formally and timely) and vice versa. Concepts such as GDP, unemployment, inflation, exchange rate etc. is generally known by every citizen. In addition, there are performance indicators that at least some people understand – sales (turnover) and its development, volume of investment, staff quantity and wage rates, because those people work for organizations that measure their success or failure with those instruments. This dissertation defines individual macroeconomic indicators, shows the means of their detection, interpretation and progression over time. At the same time, it presents key indicators of company performance, their interpretation and evolution over time. Dissertation further analyses the relationship between the relation between macroeconomic indicators and company's performance indicators. Next, it examines whether macroeconomic indicators affect the company's performance or whether causality of process is reversed. The objective is to ascertain there is not relationship between the movement of macroeconomic indicators and performance indicators of monitored companies and draw practical recommendations for commercial businesses.
