American foreign policy towards Israel in the context of disintegration of the Soviet Empire

The goal of this Bachelor thesis is to confirm or refute the opinion, that the breakdown of the Soviet Union had a profound effect on US foreign policy towards Israel. Possible changes in bilateral relations between these two countries are defined through a comparison of policies of two presidents in power during the years of 1981-1993 – Ronald Reagan and George W. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je potvrdiť alebo vyvrátiť názor, že rozpad Sovietskeho impéria mal zásadný dopad na zahraničnú politiku USA voči Izraelu. Zmeny v bilaterálnych vzťahoch týchto dvoch krajín sa práca snaží určiť pomocou komparácie politiky dvoch prezidentov, úradujúcich v období rokov 1981-1993 – Ronalda Reagana a Georgea W. H. Busha.
