Czech translations of Lenka Reinerová 's works after 1989

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na české překlady děl Lenky Reinerové po roce 1989. Tento rok znamenal pro autorku mezník v její tvorbě, neboť do té doby nemohla v Československu publikovat. Lenka Reinerová se řadí svou prozaickou produkcí k pražské německé literatuře a téměř všechny její povídkové soubory jsou psány v německém jazyce. Její knihy vycházely ve velkých nákladech v NDR a na český knižní trh se dostaly až po sametové revoluci, a to díky překladům Olgy Walló a Jany Zoubkové. Na základě interpretací vybraných českých překladů jsou vyvozeny stěžejní body autorčiny poetiky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on Czech translations of Lenka Reinerová's works after 1989. That year was a milestone in her professional life since she had not been allowed to publish her works in Czechoslovakia by then. Lenka Reinerová belongs to the Prague German literature because almost all her story collections were written in the German language. Her books were published in great numbers of copies in the GDR and appeared in the Czech book market only after the Velvet Revolution when translated by Olga Walló and Jana Zoubková. Key points of the author's poetics are derived from the interpretation of selected Czech translations of the author´s works.
