Age management in the energy sector in selected regions of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Z problematiky Age managementu se v poslední době v závislosti na aktuálních demografických a socioekonomických změnách stává téma, které by do budoucna mohlo mít na vývoj situace zásadní vliv. Teoretická část práce se věnuje problematice různých generací na trhu práce, demografickému vývoji a bližšímu definování konceptu Age managementu. Praktická část práce se zaobírá především samotným výzkumem uplatňování principů Age managementu v energetickém sektoru. Hlavním cílem práce je identifikovat a vyhodnotit uplatňování principů Age managementu ve vybraných společnostech působících v sektoru energetiky. K naplnění cílů byl zvolený kvalitativní výzkum, který byl postaven na základě polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Získaná dala byla následně zpracována pomocí aplikace MAXQDA 2022. Dále se práce věnuje vyhodnocení výsledků vlastního výzkumu a diskusi, ve které se autor snaží nalézt odpověď na předem stanovené výzkumné otázky. Získané výstupy mohou sloužit pro další výzkum.

Abstract:

Recently, depending on current demographic and socio-economic changes, the issue of Age management has become a topic that could have a major impact on the development of the situation in the future. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the issue of different generations on the labor market, demographic development and a closer definition of the concept of Age management. The practical part of the work mainly deals with research into the application of Age management principles in the energy sector. The main goal of the work is to identify and evaluate the application of age management principles in selected companies operating in the energy sector. To fulfill the objectives, qualitative research was chosen, which was built on the basis of semi-structured interviews. The data obtained was subsequently processed using the MAXQDA 2022 application. Furthermore, the work is devoted to the evaluation of the results of his own research and discussion, in which the author tries to find an answer to predetermined research questions. The obtained outputs can be used for further research.
